The Rainfall’s Tint

Why do I love rain?
Someone I dearly loved had their soul in it;
No, it doesn’t bring back the pain,
Every part of me feels free bit by bit.

There’s something about the lone walker’s gait,
Drenched in rainwater, he carries on with his trip;
With happiness, my mind is laid,
It doesn’t repent since there is no guilt.

The hailstones start coming down,
As blows the furious wind;
I will answer the call again,
There’s something unexplainable about the rainfall’s tint.

Facts Would Be Mistaken

We’ve had our dark phase,
Might have it again;
But you are the one I can rely upon,
In the darkest of days.

You have a beautiful soul,
More than the clear water it is pure;
Even if it takes away my life,
For you, anything I would endure.

You are my first and last aid,
Our bond, hopefully, will never fade;
Facts would be mistaken if they ever stated,
For each other, we are not made.

Well, Well

Well, well,
On the past, let’s not dwell,
Find something which appeals to you,
It’s time to break out of your shell,

Well, well,
No, don’t ring the bell,
Help won’t ever be on its way,
Make your very own den;

Well, well,
If there’s anything you need to tell,
Better say it and not let it die inside,
I assure you, it will end well,

Well, well,
Your stories by themselves will not sell,
Pour out your heart on each page,
There’s magic in your pen;

Well, well,
So hard I fell,
Without any motivation to keep going,
Every moment feels like hell!

A Time Matched By No Other

A very happy birthday to you,
My dear.
Another year older, the more you are wiser,
Don’t worry, dreams are about to come true, there’s no place for fear.

May you get everything you desire, And the dangerous pandemic leaves you unaffected.
Your close ones remain safe, by your side,
And the weight of the test of times is successfully hefted.

We don’t talk as much as we used to, this thought makes me shudder,
But I know you’ll always be my favourite sister and I’ll be your best brother.
Hope this year will bring lots of joy and happiness in your life,
A time matched by no other.

Walk on the Same Lane

From the very beginning,
I had this spark in my mind to bring about a change.
Starting from the boycott of refrigerants and air conditioners,
Till the complete stoppage of all kinds of other pollutants, they had to range.

It was around four years ago, I remember,
When I first presented my idea.
Voices were raised and I was declared a complete fool by common consent,
I was the center of laughter for the next few days because of my revolutionary mania.

I gave up consuming refrigerated items,
As soon as this idea occurred to me.
No more comfort of the air conditioned rooms,
Cause I knew success never comes free.

Not a single soul came to my side and recognised my efforts,
Instead, they always tried to ignore.
But I did not lose hope and continued my revolution on a small personal scale,
And whenever anyone tried to suppress me along with my ideas, I was always prepared to reply with a roar.

The years passed by,
I am still yearning for support.
Yes, the lone warrior of this idea welcomes all of you to give your contribution in whatever way you can,
And help in improving the environmental report.

I don’t regret anything,
Though, since then, I have had a tough life.
If we can move higher with this idea then my happiness can’t be reduced,
Even with a cut from a knife.

I hope all of my sacrifices,
Won’t go away in vain.
Let’s join our hands together and bring some difference in the world,
Success is not very far away if all of us walk on the same lane.
