Well, Well

Well, well,
On the past, let’s not dwell,
Find something which appeals to you,
It’s time to break out of your shell,

Well, well,
No, don’t ring the bell,
Help won’t ever be on its way,
Make your very own den;

Well, well,
If there’s anything you need to tell,
Better say it and not let it die inside,
I assure you, it will end well,

Well, well,
Your stories by themselves will not sell,
Pour out your heart on each page,
There’s magic in your pen;

Well, well,
So hard I fell,
Without any motivation to keep going,
Every moment feels like hell!

Literally Everything

We were just kids then,

To know what it meant.

I wish I could’ve seen it all along,

But we were too young.

No worries for the future,

Learning new things about our culture.

Trying a hand in all the things around,

Every activity a dare, just for the sake of adventure.

We did everything we could find,

Sure that we were inseparable friends in our mind.

The happiness sunk deep inside,

And we begin to thought that life was so kind.

But then the inevitable happened,

And one of us left in the middle,

With new ambitions for his life,

Went away, leaving us bewildered!

Eventually,

We went back to normal,

But something had definitely changed,

And we became somewhat formal.

We all chose different paths,

Swearing that our friendship will ever last,

Thankfully, they kept their promise,

But naturally nothing was anymore like our past.

These terrible things,

Made me grow up.

Still, whenever I look back at that time,

A smile does show up.

I hope that when all of us will have had enough of our own selves,

We will go back to the old ways, which were,

Just thinking about nothing,

And having, literally, everything!
